ROLF SPECTACLES
ilmo d’Or is a reputed French award
with a global standing in the optical
Sindustry. The award is accorded
by Silmo, the international trade fair for
optometry, eyewear, and corrective lenses
that takes place every year in Paris. Annually,
the event witnesses over 800 exhibitors with
some 35,000 visitors from the optics sector.
The jury of this year’s Silmo d’Or awarded the
Amur 02 design, the plant-based substance
eyewear collection by ROLF Spectacles. The
product is light, sustainable, and boasts of
sophisticated technology which brought it
to the forefront and was celebrated by the
optics experts, for the fourth time this year
in the Technological Innovation category. As
Roland Wolf excitedly shared, “Whenever
