programmes at its campus from 27 August to

The week-long programme was inaugurated
by Dr SK Mohitra, a senior eye surgeon from
MD Eye Hospital, Prayagraj. Dr Suresh Dwivedi,
director of the Tamanna Institute, presided over
the opening function. Other dignitaries present
on the occasion included Dr Pankaj Choubey,
principal and Head of the Department of
Optometry, Tamanna Institute, scientist Sanjay
Mishra from the All India Institute of Medical
Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, who is also the SUNEEL DIXIT TEACHING STUDENTS HOW

After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp

the programme commenced with a series of
educational lectures on topical topics
and hands-on training sessions that were
conducted and delivered by noted
professionals from the field.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr SK Mohitra
stressed on the significance and need for
conducting such workshops. “There is a dire
need to spread awareness and highlight the
