optometry conference. The
scientific meet was on the
theme, “The Role of Optometry
in Community Eye Care &
Preventable Blindness”.
The proceedings began with

The lighting of the lamp was
done by the chief guest, Dr SN
Sinha, founder - vice chancellor,
Bihar Health Science University;
the guest of honour Dr RK
Singh, registrar, Aryabhatta
Knowledge University; guest of
honour Dr Subodh Kumar Dixit,
president, Indian Optometric
Association; Dr Sandeep
Saurabh (MLA, Paliganj,
Bihar); and Dr Rajeev Prasad,
patron of the BOA and vice
president, Asia Pacific Council
