CONFERENCE

ore than 70 speakers from different countries addressed
delegates of a conference on ophthalmology and
Moptometry in Da Nang, Vietnam, on 20 and 21 August
2022. The event entitled Cake & Pie Expo 2.0, which included
an exhibition of products by companies of the industry, was
organised by Mice Media at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.
The presentations and panel discussions, which covered a wide
range of subjects, also had the participation of delegates who
couldn’t make it in person as it was hosted in a hybrid mode.

The sessions started with a round table discussion on

The panellists were Dr Li Lian
Foo, head of the Myopia Centre
of Singapore National Eye Care;
myopia specialist and clinical
assistant professor Carmen
Abeseamis-Dischoso from
the Philippines; and Nguyen
Huygens Tran, professor at the
Optometry College, Ho Chi Min
City, Vietnam.
