LOTUS OUTREACH PROGRAMMES ON WSD
Lotus Eye Hospital and College of Optometry
in Mumbai organised several outreach
programmes for children. As road safety and
good vision for those behind the wheel is crucial,
LEH also held screening camps for drivers.
Vision screenings were held at schools in

since children have not yet been vaccinated.
They were examined in small groups spread
throughout the day at the camps organised
by the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast.
Of the 542 children, 98 were referred for
further investigations and 32 spectacles were
prescribed. Essilor Vision Foundation provided
support for the spectacles.

Optometrists Mumtaz Qazi and Aadya Dave
