new pioneering implant to correct
presbyopia has been designed by

Universitat de València (one of Spain's
leading academic institutions) and the
Aiken Ophthalmology Clinic’s Research
Foundation, following five years of research.
The team’s work has been published in
Nature group’s Scientific Reports journal.
They have created the first trifocal
