The latest LDNR collection of sunglasses for
the 2021 spring and summer season follows
its broad precedent of wearable shapes and
modern design details. The concepts take their
inspiration from the globally influential city of
London, noted for its great and rich diversity,
where the brand has its roots.
Most of the styles are in acetate with metal MODEL
touches showing up such as in the detailing. COMPTON
A distinct touch and finish comes through
the created ombré effects of different tones of
very trendy colours from light to dark flowing
seamlessly, and the choice of lovely colour tones
both in the combinations and the solids. The
LDNR logo, a small emblem of a tower, can be
seen on the temple embossed into acetate or
engraved into metal.
For those with a penchant for oversized
sunglasses with great styling, a decidedly
contemporary interpretation of the classic
silhouette stands out in the Chiltern model. This
particular take on the 1970’s inspired shape looks
cool and classy in all the colour options of matte
black, dark tort, multi red and multi grey. Panto shapes never seem to go out of
style. In the new Compton sunglasses, they
are presented with a refreshing new look
through an acetate front combined with
a thick metal/acetate temple. Each of the
splendid colour choices vie for attention
whether it’s the more exuberant purple,
THE CADOGAN turquoise and matte red or the shiny black,
gleaming black tort and matte crystal.
MODEL FEATURES A With its distinctive flat top and
DISTINCTIVE FLAT TOP prominent framework, the Cadogan model
AND PROMINENT creates its own niche. The ombré shaded
colour effect is shown to advantage in this
FRAMEWORK model as well, with black changing gently
into crystal. Colour choices include some
of the season’s favourites: Havana, nude or
pink. The collection is available at selected
optical retailers worldwide as well as
through the company online.
