Monoqool is among the leading
Iproducers of 3D printed sustainable
eyewear. The company first ventured
into 3D printing technologies in 2008.
By 2019 they were the first to introduce
3D printed bio material.
Allan G Petersen, the founder of
the company, has been consistently
passionate about creating exceptional
designs and the ultimate glasses in
terms of comfort and lightness. Their
award-winning, screw-less frames are
ultra-lightweight (less than 4 grams)
and fully adjustable to offer a perfect fit
for each individual wearer.
Since the early days, sustainability
and respect for the environment have
been core values. Using 3D printing in
general helps to optimise the use of
resources, and Monoqool has also been
able to use 98% of the raw material
used during the 3D printing process.
By using recycled stainless steel for
frame parts (85% recycled surgical
stainless steel) and through the 3D
printing process they are able to control INNOVATIVE DANISH DESIGN
the number of frames according to BRAND MONOQOOL IS AMONG
orders so there’s no overproduction or
