We regret to inform you of the passing of Shri Hari Niwas Aggarwal on January 15^th, 2023. He shall be remembered as an indispensable figure in the Ophthalmic Lens sector.

With sheer dedication and focus, Hari Niwas got his Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Delhi in 1973. In the same year, with a clear vision and ideas, he established Enterprise Ophthalmics Pvt. Ltd., a wholesale trading business for ophthalmic lenses.

His desire to forge close bonds with his clients, customers, and suppliers led him to travel across the globe and expand his company in every way imaginable. As a result, the company expanded throughout India and became a PAN India corporation.

By establishing a joint venture with Essilor India Private Limited in 2011, he added yet another feather to his cap and helped his firm expand.

The best way to describe him is as a man with a golden heart. He was someone who helped others grow, within the family or outside, and supported them in their endeavours. He has surely left a painful void that can never be filled.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sunita Aggarwal; mother, Mrs. Malti Devi; son, Ashutosh; daughter-in-law, Kanishka; and granddaughter, Ashvika Aggarwal.
